    Dear Parents,

    This is to inform you that from the upcoming academic session of 2023-24, a skill subject, Artificial Intelligence (Code no. 417) will be introduced as the 6th subject in the curriculum of Class IX as per CBSE Circular No. Skill-01/2023.  Please note that this subject is compulsory for all and is being introduced keeping the students’ best interests in mind.

    Classes VI - XII

    Dear Parents,

    This is to inform you that Sports Clubs will begin from 17th April 2023 for the session 2023-24. 

    These Sports Clubs are optional for the students.  Following are the options that the students

    can choose from :

    Morning Club - Basketball

    Classes VI – VIII

    Days : - Tuesdays and Thursday.  Timings will be from -  7:00 am to 8:30 am

    Classes IX – XII

    Days :  Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Timings will be from – 7:00 am to 8:30 am

    Afternoon Clubs

    Classes VI – X

    Days : Mondays and Tuesdays – Archery     

    Days : Wednesdays  -  Volleyball, Table Tennis and Yoga

    Days : Thursdays  – Skating and Zumba

    Timings will be from 2:45pm to 3:45 pm

    Kindly fill up the Form given below and send it to your daughter’s Class Teacher by 17th March 2023.

    Students opting for the Archery need not fill this form.  Once you select the particular Sports Club you cannot change / drop in the middle of the session.

    We are organizing a camp at BERMIOK in West Sikkim for students who are members of the Adventure Club and who wish to join IAYP (International Award for Young People).  The proposed dates of travel are from 16th May to 19th May 2023.

    The itinerary has been given to your daughter.

    If you wish your ward to participate in the camp, kindly sign and send the permission slip as well as a Demand Draft of Rs.20,500/- in favour of ‘Sushila Birla Girls’ School’ to the Class Teacher by 10th March 2023.

    We would like to offer the following activities to the students of classes II, III, IV and V in the academic session 2023 – 24. Details are as follows:

    Please make a note of the following:

    1. Students who have been attending these clubs in the current academic session have to re-register themselves for the coming year.
    2. A child cannot be a member of more than one Activity Club held on the same day.
    3. We may not be able to accommodate more than a certain number of students in an Activity Club. Hence students who register first will be given priority.
    4. Students who want to enrol for Bulbuls are expected to pay the annual charges in a sealed envelope to their class teacher by Monday, 6th March 2023 along with the consent form.
    5. Students opting for the Archery Club need to send the consent form to their respective class teachers. Annual charges will be collected from the students who qualify for the club only after the selection process.

    As you are aware, your daughter is participating in the Prize Day Programme to be held on Friday, 24th March 2023.

    •  Dress Rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, 22nd March 2023.

         Participants are to report at 8:15 a.m. in their respective costumes and light make up. They will be dismissed as per the following schedule.

         Class III- 10:55 a.m.

         Class IV – 11:05 a.m.

         Class V – 11:15 a.m.

    •  Annual Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony will be held on Friday, 24th March 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the CPA.

    1. Students participating in the programme need to report to school at 8:15 am in their respective costumes.
    2. Participants who are prize winners will receive prizes in their respective costumes. However, they will go up on stage to receive their prizes in regulation socks and school shoes. Please label their shoes so that they can be identified.
    3. All students will be dismissed against their ID Cards from school after the entire programme is over. The programme is expected to be over by 1:00 p.m.
