On 19th and 20th July, 2023,  ‘Swabhimaan’, the Social Entrepreneurship Club of Sushila Birla Girls’ School, organised CRAFTASTIC-2023 in collaboration with the Rural Craft and Cultural Hubs of West Bengal.  Various handicrafts like Sabai, Dokra, Kantha and Madur, prepared by the rural artisans from different parts of West Bengal, were on display in the fair.

The students helped the cause of artisans by interacting with the prospective customers, promoting their products and providing them a platform to sell the same. Committed to sustainability, the students also put up a stall of upcycled bags made by them. The event enabled the students to hone their entrepreneurial and marketing skills while assisting the rural artisans.
