On 12th January 2024, 31 students along with four teachers and two parents from Sushila Birla Girls' School embarked on a mission to spread joy in Sidhu Kanho, an orphanage in Purulia. Books, stationery, school bags, food, play items, medical kits and sanitary napkins were distributed among the 50 odd children of the orphanage.

The following day witnessed a journey to the village of Jiling sereng where they distributed clothes and food items to each family. This initiative was to support those in need, thereby fostering a culture of philanthropy and team work in the students.
