Ms. Poonam Dhawan was declared a ‘Champion Teacher’ amongst innumerable nominations from across the globe. With her unflinching dedication, she has outshone nominations from all over the world and has emerged as one of the two educators from India to have won this annual competition.

Ms. Dhawan has collaborated with organisations like the SwitchON Foundation, Earth Day Network India and Bengal CAN. She has motivated her students to contribute effectively towards the environment. Her dedication to her profession was showcased globally when she participated in the Guinness World Record event on Teachers' Day in 2023.
