• Classes IV, VI and VII

    Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that CBSE has chosen Educational Initiatives as its partner to build the content for their Competency Based Assessments for a three year period. Since these Competency Tests would cover case based and assertion reasoning based questions and especially test cognitive skills and conceptual depth, the Board has chosen ASSET over any other Test.

Under the aegis of EI ASSET (Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing) we are organising ASSET Tests in English, Mathematics and Science in the second term.

Participation for the students of Classes IV, VI and VII is optional.

The fee per student for a single subject is Rs.250/-

The fee per student for 2 subjects is Rs.400/-

The fee per student for all the 3 subjects is Rs.520/-.

Students who are interested in participating, may give their names along with the participation fee in a sealed envelope to their respective Class Teacher by Wednesday, 2nd November 2022. The dates of the tests will be intimated later.

Please visit http://www.ei-india.com/  for more information on how ASSET is helping students across the country. Students may register themselves at  http://www.aqad.in/  to get practice questions.

  • Classes VII to XI

    Dear Parents

We are pleased to announce that our partner school in France- Collège Sacré-Coeur, Lamballe, Brittany has sent a proposal for an in-person exchange of around 40 students in the academic session 2023-24. The selected students of our school, along with a few teachers, will be visiting the school in France from 20th to the 29th of May 2023. The students from France will come to Kolkata for a reciprocal visit around October/November, the dates for which have not been finalized yet.

We request you to kindly let us know if your daughter would be interested in participating in this exchange programme. Although the selection of students will take place once the school reopens after the Puja Vacation, we would be obliged if you let us know by Wednesday, 28.09.2022 whether you are keen to send your daughter to France by sending a note through her.

Kindly note the following details which will aid you in making your decision.

          • Collège Sacré-Coeur, Lamballe, Brittany, France has been our partner school since the past several years and we have had several exchanges with them before the pandemic struck.

          • The partner school is a co-educational institution and hence the partner assigned might be of either gender.

          • The exchange involves home stay i.e. your daughter will stay in the house of the French partner assigned to her and she will have to host her partner at her residence in Kolkata.

          • The expenditure of the trip will be borne by the students.

          • In case the visit by the French students coincides with any internal examination, the participating students will be allowed to appear for another set of examinations.

All consent letters are to be addressed to the Principal and handed over to Mrs. Nabanita Sen, the Coordinator for Outreach Programmes in the Coordinators’ Office in the Primary School Building.

    Thank you,

    Yours sincerely,
