    Dear Parents,

    Sushila Birla Girls’ School is very keen to promote the awareness of our city’s past among its students, particularly among those who are active members of the Heritage and Photography clubs.  Kolkata Walks is proposing to arrange walking tours together with other activities for school students as a means of appreciating the rich cultural heritage of our city.  The fee per student is Rs.1500/-.

    Please note that participation in this prgramme is entirely voluntary.  You may send the above amount by cash / cheque through your daughter and this is to be handed to Mrs Bhowmick, Librarian, by 24th April. 

    The first walk is scheduled to take place on Sunday 30th April 2017 from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.

    Re: ‘Aadhaar’  Card

    Dear Parents

    Pursuant to the directions of the Home Department, Government of West Bengal, all the students of all schools need to be enrolled under ‘Aadhaar’.  The Kolkata Municipal Corporation is taking steps to set up camps in all schools for enrolling the students under Aadhaar in the schools itself for the convenience of the parents and students.

    In this connection, you are requested to fill in the form given below.  If your child already has an Aadhaar card kindly mention in the same.  If not, fill in all the necessary details which will be required for making an ‘Aadhaar’ card.

    Please note that this scheme is applicable to students aged 5 years (as on 1/5/2017) and above.

    On the day your daughter has water play she is to wear a swimming costume under her school uniform. She should carry a towel, a comb and underwear in a plastic bag with her name written on it.
