    Classes VII & VIII

    Dear Parents

    This is to inform you that all students of Class VIII and students of Class VII studying 2nd language Bengali will be taken on a field trip to Alipore Jail Museum on Friday, 27th January 2023. The objective of the field trip is to enable students to gain an insight into the hardships faced by the freedom fighters due to their incarceration.

    The students will be accompanied by their History and Bengali teachers.

    Please note that dismissal will take place from school at the scheduled time.

    Kindly sign the consent form and send it through your daughter on 27.01.2023.

    As you are aware your daughter is participating in the Sports which will be held in school on Tuesday, 7th February 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

    You will be happy to know that we are organizing a fun race for parents too.

    Please note the following with regard to the same:

    • Interested couples should send in their names to their daughter’s class teacher through a note in her diary by Wednesday, 1st February 2023

    • The race is open only to couples, hence we will not be able to include a participant if only one spouse is present

    • We can accommodate only a limited number of parents. Hence we will have a lucky draw to decide on the participants for the race. Names will be announced at the venue before the race

    • Please note that participation requests will not be accepted after Wednesday, 1st February 2023.

    MONDAY:          Moong dal puri/ Peas paratha, til laddu, any seasonal fruit

    TUESDAY:         Vegetable rice/ Vegetable poha, dry fruits chikki, any seasonal fruit

    WEDNESDAY:   Vegetable vermicelli Frankie roll, sprout salad, any seasonal fruit

    THURSDAY:      Aaloo-Paneer tikki / Bread Pulao, gajar halwa, any seasonal fruit

    FRIDAY:             Peanut butter vegetable sandwich/ Idli, sliced carrot, any seasonal fruit

    N.B. 

    • The quantity of the food packed should be appropriate to the appetite of your child.

    •  Sufficient drinking water must be carried to school.

    •  A napkin must be carried to school daily.

    •  Fork/Spoon should be carried every day.

    •  Packaged food items should not be sent.

    •  Nuts are healthy and may be added to your daughter’s tiffin every day.

    •  Easily digestible food should be provided.

    •  Fried food should be avoided.

    •  Minimum oil should be used.

    • It is advisable to give an extra tiffin to girls on club days.

    Dear Parents,

    This is to inform you that Republic Day and Saraswati Puja will be celebrated in school on Thursday 26th January 2023, according to the following schedule :

    Flag hoisting             -    8:15 am to 8:30 am

    Puja                            -    8:30 am to 10:00 am

    Reporting time for students is 8:00 am while attendance is not compulsory, we expect students to attend the programme.

    Please note that students must be dressed in appropriate Indian attire.

    1. The syllabus for the examinations will be notified by the Class Teachers in the Google Classroom.
    2. Classes will remain suspended for the students of Class V on Monday, 13th February 2023 and Tuesday, 14th February 2023.
    3. Maximum Marks for each examination is 40 Marks.
    4. The students must report to school at 8:15 a.m.
    5. Dispersal of students will be against I.D. Cards at 10.10 a.m.
    6. Students are to bring a transparent pouch with pen, pencil, eraser, ruler etc.
    7. Morning basketball practice and afternoon activity classes will remain suspended for the students of Class V from Monday, 13th February 2023 to Friday, 24th February 2023.
    8. Normal classes will resume from Monday, 27th February 2023.
