In Barbie’s world, a tale unfolds,
A movie filled with dreams untold.
Amidst the whispers and the scorn,
A truth emerges, newly born.
Upon the screen, we witness strife,
Where limit marks the path of life.
For Barbie, once a charming doll,
Her journey starts to break the thrall.
In pink-tinged lands, she stood confined,
By stereotypes that undermined.
Her worth reduced to looks alone,
A fate that she would not condone.
They say it’s anti-men, unkind,
But let’s look deeper, we shall find,
A message strong, a fierce display,
Smashing patriarchy’s grip away.
Ken, the prince, so handsome and tall,
In him, the world reflects its misogynistic sprawl.
A puppet of society’s cruel decree,
His actions mirror a truth we must see.
Barbie, a beacon of strength and grace,
Refuses to be confined in this cold embrace.
She soars like a phoenix in flight,
Against the darkness, she’ll stand and fight.
No more waiting for a prince to save,
She writes her story, bold and brave.
The damsels now can break free and pave,
Their own destinies, no longer enslaved.
But it’s not just Barbie, for in this tale,
Her friends unite, the sisterhood prevails.
Through teamwork, they will not fail,
Together they rise, their spirits set sail.
With courage, love, and friendships true,
They tell us what we can do.
To break the chains of unjust might,
And build a world that’s shining bright.
They teach Ken the essence of change,
To embrace equality, to rearrange.
He realises his mistake, the blinkered view,
And joins the journey to start anew.
In Barbie’s world, let’s take a stand,
United hearts, hand in hand.
To lift each other, reach the skies,
And show the world, love never dies.
