On Friday, 30.01.26, Sushila Birla Girls’ School truly nailed it with ‘Imagine, Innovate, Impact’ their exhibition on the Sustainable Development Goals. ‘Promise for a better tomorrow’ was the underlying spirit where the students of Classes III, IV and V showcased creative models, charts and posters thoughtfully incorporating all 17 SDGs, reflecting a comprehensive understanding of the global goals. Working models explained practical impact of tangible steps that the students have taken up to tackle some of the real-world problems like No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Clean Water and Sanitation, Climate Action and Life on Land. Scannable QR codes created in school provided the visitors with deeper insight into India’s contribution to each SDG. An E-waste drive was also initiated, and the students pledged to collect electronic waste responsibly to prevent environmental pollution by promoting sustainable disposal practices. Students dressed as Sofia Qureshi, Kalpana Chawla and Avani Lekhara, among others spoke about women excelling in every field and the progress with every generation.
The inaugural ceremony set the perfect tone for this display while the ‘Street Play’ reiterated the rights and duties of citizens urging every member present to rise to the occasion, take conscious steps and pledge to contribute towards a sustainable planet and a healthy future for Gen Alpha/ future generations.
