Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata-The students of Class V participated in an educational field trip to the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata, on 10 July 2026 as part of the Term I interdisciplinary learning programme. A total of 119 students took part in the visit, which was designed to promote experiential learning by integrating concepts from various subjects. During the visit, students explored the museum galleries and engaged in activities related to Mathematics, Science, Geography, English, History, Information Technology, General Knowledge, Hindi, and Bengali.
They observed scientific exhibits, identified landmarks and road signs, learnt about scientists and
their inventions, decoded binary codes, and reflected on their experiences through language-based activities. The field trip successfully fostered curiosity, critical thinking, observation, and
collaborative learning, making it an enriching and memorable educational experience for all the
students.
