On 3rd August 2026, a First Aid training session was conducted for students of Class 11 under the guidance of Dr. Saima Nasreen from Charnock Hospital. The facilitators demonstrated basic life-saving techniques and emergency care, guiding students on how to respond effectively during various medical emergencies such as choking, burns and electrocution. This session emphasised on the importance of providing immediate assistance before professional help arrives, thereby increasing the survival chances of victims. Dr. Nasreen demonstrated essential first aid procedures including chest compressions, the Heimlich Manoeuvre in case of choking, controlling convulsions/seizures, treating burns and handling electrocution as well as snake bites. The session enabled students to gain practical knowledge, imparting them valuable life skills. It helped them gain a proper understanding of how to react and treat emergencies.
