On 15th August 2026, Sushila Birla Girls’ School celebrated the 80th Independence Day in the school premises with flag hoisting and a small cultural programme.
This was followed by the Felicitation Ceremony for the high achievers of SSCE 2025-26 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium.
The programme was graced by dignitaries, teachers, parents and students. Meritorious students from Sushila Birla Girls’ School were awarded by Vidya Mandir Society with a medal and certificate each for their exemplary performance. Anandini Sengupta, school and Humanities topper for SSCE was awarded for her excellent performance. Twisha Agarwal from the Commerce stream, Vani Gupta, topper from the Science stream and Pritha Bhojnagarwala and Adrita Mullick for Overall Excellence were the awardees for the day. A silver medallion and a cheque of Rs 25,000 was awarded to the meritorious students.
The Alumni Association of the school also presented the students with a gift voucher each to recognise their brilliant results.
