THE MODEL UNITED NATIONS IN SBGS
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MUN CLUB
APRIL 2025
The students of class IX attended a workshop on the Assembly of Nations conducted by The Bhawanipur Education Society College on 16th August, 2025. The first time members of class IX were given an overview of the proceedings of the Model United Nations.
MAY 2025
The first ever Intra- School MUN of Sushila Birla Girls School was organized. 30 best speakers and debaters were chosen to be part of the MUN Club and represent the school in future Model United Nations, Assembly of Nations, Student Parliament and Moot Courts.
JUNE 2025
Students of SBGS attended the St. Xavier’s Model United Nations (XMUN). Three days of grueling sessions were held. The students came out with a lot of confidence and experience.
JULY 2025
SBGS participated in three days of acute debating, discussion and deliberations in the St. James Model United Nations (JACOMUN). Our Student Mahek Bardia received a Special Mention.
SBGS students had a fantastic time in the Calcutta Boys School Organised Assembly of Nations.

AUGUST 2025
SBGS participated in the Don Bosco Park Circus School Organised BOSCOMUN. Three days of debating, critical thinking and crisis management were followed with the following prizes.
