Sushila Birla Girls' School organised a Science Fiesta on 23rd July 2025, featuring students from Classes I-XII in engaging activities designed to demonstrate how Physics, Chemistry and Biology provide solutions for daily life. The event began with expert sessions by Dr. Vineeta Kaul on sleep and hormones and Dr. Ruchi Pipara on menstrual hygiene and cervical cancer, followed by an inter-house science quiz that was won by the Maurya House.
Students showcased diverse practical experiments including chemical luminescence, volcanic eruptions, DNA fingerprinting, microbial fuel cells, chemical sunset and optical illusions across all year groups. Computer exhibits featured innovative Microbit projects such as digital foosball games, fitness trackers and musical instruments, whilst Class X students created environmentally-themed online games addressing conservation issues.
The Robotics Hobby Activity classes demonstrated practical models including touchless dustbins, traffic signal controls, smoke sensors and attendance trackers, emphasising hands-on learning and collaborative exploration. The fiesta successfully celebrated scientific creativity and practical application whilst promoting teamwork and curiosity amongst students.
