Senior Prize Day

Event Date: 10-04-2026

"Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.”

In Sushila Birla Girls’ School prizes have a profound significance. They are not just tokens of recognition, they are symbols of hard work and sheer dedication.

Each prize is a testament to the commitment and perseverance of the students in pursuit of their goals, the holistic development of the girl child, advocating the growth of students not only in academics but also co-curricular activities including sports, music, dance and art. The school celebrated its Annual Prize Day on 10th April 2026, felicitating the students’ endeavour to strive for excellence in the session 2025-26.

A cultural programme preceded the prize distribution ceremony. A choral recitation of the poem, 'The Listeners' by students of Classes VII, VIII and IX started the event, followed by a musical medley by students exploring the theme of self-actualisation and rejuvenation.

Various categories of prizes were awarded to deserving students who had worked hard to earn them by performing consistently throughout the year. The prizes were handed over to the students by parents.

An integral part of the Annual Prize Day were a number of special awards such as the Usha Nain Award for the best overall performance by a student in the academic session 2025-26 which was awarded to Pritha Bhojnagarwala. The Alumnae Award for significant contribution towards Social Service went to Nikita Singhvi for the session 2025-26. The Principal's Medal for being the highest scorer in SSE 2025 went to Yashvvi Mehta. The Rita Bibra Medal for being the best all rounder in Class X in the session 2024-25 went to Neeti Jain.

For any institution, the support staff is one of the most important stakeholders. The school in acknowledgement of their contribution awarded Geeta Devi with the Best Employee of the Grade IV Staff for the session 2025-26. Last but not the least, the Sushila Birla Memorial Trophy for the Best Overall Performance by a House in academics and co-curricular activities went to Kushan House.
