The ‘Sipping, Sharing and Parenting Session with the Principal' was conducted for the parents of Class III on 18th and 21st August. The programme created a warm and engaging space for parents to reflect on their parenting journey and strengthen the school–parent partnership. 83 parents attended the programme, marking an encouraging response.
During the session, parents were divided into groups and given situations to discuss the role of parents in a child’s life. Some examples included how parents should respond when a child uses faulty language and how to support a child in dealing with failure. These thought-provoking scenarios encouraged meaningful discussions, allowing parents to share practical approaches from their own experiences.
The Principal guided the conversations by highlighting ways to understand children better, balance discipline with empathy and build stronger connections at home and with the school. Parents actively participated, exchanged ideas and appreciated the opportunity for open dialogue.
The session concluded on a warm note with refreshments, truly reflecting the spirit of sipping and sharing.
