Sushila Birla Girls’ School reaffirmed its strong commitment to social responsibility and inclusion by successfully organising the 19th edition of SMAYAN on December 2nd, 2025. Hosted by SNEH – Social Service Unit of the school , this dedicated fest, themed "Spreading Smiles Across Miles" , celebrated and empowered differently abled individuals. The event provided a crucial inclusive platform for self-expression, creativity and joyful participation. With 16 schools participating and special artistic creations showcased by students from Behala Nabaprayash , SMAYAN 2025 was inaugurated by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp following inspiring addresses from the Chief Guest, Mr. Sudipendu Dutta and Guest of Honour, Mrs. Basabi Ghatak. Through competitive events like dance, elocution, fashion show and band performance , the programme highlighted the confidence and unique abilities of all participants. Noble Mission bagged the trophy for the overall winner. The overwhelming success of SMAYAN 2025 demonstrated its standing as a meaningful and impactful initiative that promotes dignity and creative expression for the differently-abled community.
