On 9th October 2026, Sushila Birla Memorial Day 2026 was celebrated at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium under the theme 'Business of Possibilities', featuring presentations by students from Classes IV to XI.
This year, the Memorial Day Programme showcased entrepreneurship as a mindset that inspires innovation, creativity, leadership and social responsibility. The programme highlighted their ability to identify opportunities, embrace challenges and create meaningful impact, blending strong values with innovation to prepare them for the future with confidence and purpose.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, Mrs Koeli Dey, followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest, Ms Nandita Raja, Managing Director of Kanishka’s. The ceremonial lamp was lit by Mrs Sumangala Birla, President, Sushila Birla Girls’ School, along with other dignitaries, followed by a dance performance and video presentations.
Among the highlights of the evening was a panel discussion featuring eminent entrepreneurs from diverse industries which was moderated by Ms Swati Gautam, Founder & CEO of NecessitySwatiGautam.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs Vidisha Panja, Dean-Academics.
