CBSE CLUSTER- II Basketball Tournament was held from 1st December to 4^th December, 2022 at Burnpur Riverside School, Burnpur. The three states that took part in the cluster meet were Chhattisgarh, Odisha and West Bengal. 

12 girls of Sushila Birla Girls’ School, from classes IX to XI participated in the tournament. 

Sushila Birla Girls’ School team bagged the first position in the girls U-19 category. Juhi Bansal was awarded the Player of the Match for the final match and Ipshita Pugalia was awarded the Player of the tournament. 

On 1st July 2023, Mrs. K. Dey, Principal, Sushila Birla Girls’ School and the meritorious students of the institution were felicitated by Prabhat Khabar. The felicitation ceremony was held at the National Library where four students from Class X (AISSE) and nine students from Class XII (AISSCE) were awarded the Pratibha Samman while Mrs. K. Dey was conferred with Guru Samman.

Sushila Birla Girls’ School was awarded certificates of honour for  'Excellence in Social Service' and 'Excellence in Extra Curricular Activities' by The Telegraph School Awards for Excellence 2023. Mrs S. Roy, Special Educator and Mrs P. Gurung, P.E instructor, accepted the award on behalf of the school at the ceremony held at South City International School on 19 th August 2023.

On 2nd September 2023, Principal, Mrs K. Dey was felicitated by IIHM in a 'Teachers' Day Award’ ceremony for her exceptional effort in redefining the teaching- learning process, thereby empowering the girl child for a progressive life. Ms Madhupriya Das, Coordinator of Examinations, Sushila Birla Girls' School, was also awarded 'The Teachers' Day Award'

Ms. Poonam Dhawan was declared a ‘Champion Teacher’ amongst innumerable nominations from across the globe. With her unflinching dedication, she has outshone nominations from all over the world and has emerged as one of the two educators from India to have won this annual competition.
