On 12th October 2022, to felicitate the country’s top day, boarding and international schools, the 'Education World India School Rankings 2022-23 Awards' ceremony was held at The Leela Ambience Gurgaon Hotel. Sushila Birla Girls' School was ranked 2nd in Kolkata and in West Bengal in the ‘Girls’ Day Schools’ category  on the basis of academic reputation, faculty competence, leadership quality and sports education. 

Sushila Birla Girls' School was bestowed with the Rashtriya Nirman Ratan Award for Education Excellence by Intellectual Peoples Foundation (I.P.F), a foundation that promotes and encourages commendable achievements from all over the country. Mrs. Vidisha Panja, Head Mistress, collected the award at a National Conference on 'Individual Achievements, Intellectual Excellence and National Development' on Thursday, 1st December, 2022 in New Delhi.

The Inter School Gita Shloka Chanting Competition was held on 29th January 2023 at Chinmaya Mission, Kolkata. Two students from Sushila Birla Girls’ School had participated in it. Jeetisha Dutt of Class Vll B ranked second in the competition. The award ceremony was held at Birla Academy of Fine Arts on 19th March 2023. Along with the second prize in the category of shloka chanting, the school also received a special prize titled 'Chant Gita Enchant Krishna'.

We are proud to announce that Sushila Birla Girls’ School has been judged winner in the IESA Great Global Cleanup Heroes' Competition. We have been awarded with a trophy in the 'Consistency & Petitions' category by Earth Day Network India which aims at making our planet a cleaner and a better place to live.

On 25th June 2023, 30 meritorious students of the institution were felicitated by Taaza TV. The felicitation ceremony was held at the National Library where top 10 students from each stream of Class XII (AISSCE) were awarded the Medha Samman.
