Mysteriously Marvellous

Drishya Yaduka of Class VI C participated in the event, ‘Wonder Wagon’ in the inter-school literary fest, ‘Mysteriously Marvellous’, organised by Mahadevi Birla World Academy on 30th January, 2021. The participant was to create a wagon for a sleuth to facilitate in solving crimes in an efficient manner. Drishya had created a car, named ‘Pegasus’ which had the extraordinary features of flying and having enhanced speed.

National Astronomy Challenge

In the months of November and December, 2020 the students dawned their thinking caps and participated in the ‘National Astronomy Challenge’ conducted by Stem Research and Innovation. This is the most prestigious Olympiad on Astronomy in India.

Model United Nations

Event Date: 16-09-2025

The students of Sushila Birla Girls’ School participated in the fifth edition of Sri Sri Academy Model United Nations, which was virtually held on 16th, 17th and 18th October, 2020. The students were part of nine committees that discussed issues of great significance in the national and international realm.

Smayan 2019

Event Date: 16-09-2025

Smayan, a fest organised by Sneh, the social service committee of Sushila Birla Girls’ School primarily aims at helping children with special needs to showcase their talents and to make them feel included. The 14th edition of Smayan took place on the 7th and 10th of December, 2019.

Spellympic 2019

Event Date: 16-09-2025

A team of three students (Diya Bothra Class IV, Ishita Ghosh Class V and Twisha Agarwal Class VI) participated in ‘Spellympic 2019’, an Inter School spelling and word building contest organised by Birla High School, Mukundapur, on Friday, 6th December, 2019. 19 schools participated in the fest.

There were five rounds in which questions related to vocabulary, jumbled words, antonyms, synonyms, homophones and proverbs were asked. In the last round, participants played online scrabble.

Smalympics 2019

Event Date: 16-09-2025

An Inter School Games Meet “Smalympics 2019” was organised on  15th February, 2019 in the school premises. The meet was designed for girl students. Ms. Birla, Brigadier Chaturvedi, Ms. Nain, Mrs. Sehgal and Mr. Banerjee graced the occasion with their presence. Mrs. Farida Singh was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony. 116 students from 10 schools participated in various events -

Mitr 2019

Students of classes I to V participated in Inter-School Sports competition organized by Modern High School for Girls on 5th February, 2019.

They won prizes in various categories like 60 m Flat Race, Skipping race, Hurdles, Relay, etc.

Smayan 2018

Event Date: 16-09-2025

The annual event of Sneh- Smayan includes a host of activities tailored for school children with different needs and abilities.

Smayan took place on the 15th and 18th of December, 2018 and the tagline was 'Abling Minds and Disabling Mindsets'. The offstage events took place on the 15th and the theme for decorations was 'Christmas.' The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Jijo Das and Mrs Krishna Roy. Jijo Das is a passionate artist and illustrator with Down's Syndrome.

Quizennius 2018

Event Date: 16-09-2025

An Inter-School Quiz Competition, Quizzenius, 2018 organized by Sushila Birla Girls' School was held on Sushila Birla Memorial Day, 4th October, 2018.

Quizmaster of the competition was Barry O’Brien, a renowned Quiz Master.

18 schools had participated out of which eight schools qualified for the finals. The first round was the written round.
