A Visit to the Park

The girls of KG  were taken to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Udyan (Minto Park) for a walk as a follow-up activity of the story – ‘In The Park’.They learnt the names of different flowers and trees and also enjoyed playing on the swing, the slide and the merry-go- round.

GRANDPARENT’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Students of each section of K.G. celebrated the birthday of a grandparent of one of the students,  in their respective classes on Tuesday 26th July.  The activity  was related to their Conversation topic, ‘Birthday’ . Students  made birthday caps in their  Craft class and were thus were introduced to the shape – ‘cone’.

RAKHI CELEBRATION

Rakhi is a sacred thread embellished with sister's love and affection for her brother. A special activity for children was conducted on 17.8.2016 to celebrate Rakhshan Bandhan. A parent had come to narrate a story on Rakhi using decorative thali which had a Rakhi, sweets, Kumkum and rice. Children also crafted Rakhi using decorative materials.

Students of KG celebrated the birthdays of grandparents in school on 29th November 2017. It was a fun activity for the girls.
