The children of Kindergarten of Sushila Birla Girls' School learnt the importance of keeping our planet clean and green through interesting activities like germination and gardening activity, where they not only planted saplings but also enjoyed the art of gardening by using tools to perfect the art.

The Nursery students celebrated Jamashtami on 18th August,2022. Grandparents from each section were invited to narrate stories related to the festival as well as teach songs to the students. A few students came dressed up as Krishna and Radha. A grandmother with her granddaughter performed a dance on the song “Achyutam Keshavam”.

On August 23rd 2024, the school was abuzz with excitement as the students of Lower and Upper Nursery, along with teachers and parents, celebrated the festival of Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. The highlight of the event was a vibrant 'Jhanki' display that vividly brought forth glimpses of Lord Krishna's life.

To celebrate the first National Space Day on 23rd August 2024, the students of Classes III and IV participated in a series of enriching and fun activities organised by NCERT.

The Carnival was bustling with over two thousand over zealous children and parents. Challenging games, exotic array of food and foot tapping music was the highlight of the weekend. The premises came alive with the high spirits of the Alumnae body making it a landmark event. Ma’am Bose, teachers and staff’s support cannot be undermined. Yes !! we did paint the town red.

A coffee meet was arranged on 8th April 2017 as a reunion of the ex students.

The Alumnae of Sushila Birla Girls' School understands that we are all children of God and CHARITY is a virtue to be exercised as much as possible. In an attempt to bring smiles to the faces of a handful of children from the underprivileged sections of the society, the Committee arranged a carnival at DAKSHIN KALIKATA SADAN on 6th February, 2017 to serve snacks at teatime to these little jewels. They relished the Maggi noodles, cream biscuits and Frooti. Their unmatched  fervour in playing games was charming. The winners took their prizes with pride.
