The annual event of Sneh- Smayan includes a host of activities tailored for school children with different needs and abilities.

Smayan took place on the 15th and 18th of December, 2018 and the tagline was 'Abling Minds and Disabling Mindsets'. The offstage events took place on the 15th and the theme for decorations was 'Christmas.' The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Jijo Das and Mrs Krishna Roy. Jijo Das is a passionate artist and illustrator with Down's Syndrome.

Offstage event was marked by the participation of 64 participants across 15 different schools like the Oral School for Deaf Children, Uttarayan, I Can Flyy, Pratham Padakshep,  Behala Bodhayan , Monovikas Kendra , etc. 

Events included the Sit and Draw Competition, Elocution competition in English , Bengali and Hindi and Techno Skills which involved typing , painting and making a powerpoint presentation on the computer. The events for the day came to an end with a DJ performance.

The Guest of Honour for onstage event were Dr Ram, Brigadier Gagan Cheema, Secretary General of Vidya Mandir Society- Brigadier Chaturvedi, Meraj Khalid and Mr Surojit Chatterjee.

Events which were lined up were Rhythm, 'Talent Show' and 'Step Up'.

The prize distribution ceremony took place in the latter half of the day, where The Oral School for Deaf Children was declared the overall winner. Mr Surojit Chatterjee along with his band–Surojit O Bondhura enthralled the audience to end the event.
