On 22nd July 2024, students and teachers of Sushila Birla Girls' School celebrated Van Mahotsav by welcoming Dr. Falguni Dey, Chief Guest, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Women's Christian College, renowned poet and avid mountaineer for the second edition of the school's sapling plantation drive. Dr. Dey conducted a workshop where students were taught how to make seed bombs. Students took a pledge to envelop their surroundings in greenery and contribute to a healthier environment. The students of the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy performed a skit on how to fight pollution.
The students of the Primary Section of school initiated a project with the participation of sixteen enthusiastic members of the Girl Scout group, Bulbuls. Additionally, members of the Science and Nature Club also joined this noble cause.
