Maitreyi 2025 – Celebrating Bonds Beyond Boundaries

On 7th August 2025, the students of Class IV hosted ‘Maitreyi’ —a unique Raksha Bandhan celebration blending Friendship Day with empathy and inclusion. Children from Parijayee Pakhi (supporting underprivileged children) and SANCHAR India, (working for children with special needs) and three of our cherished alumnae, joined the event, sharing smiles, stories and creativity.

On 15th August 2025, Sushila Birla Girls’ School celebrated the 79th Independence Day in the school premises with flag hoisting and a small cultural programme.
This was followed by the Felicitation Ceremony for the high achievers of AISSCE 2024-25 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium.

The much-anticipated Meraki 2025, an Inter-School Primary Fest was held on 1st August 2025 at Sushila Birla Girls’ School, transforming the campus into a vibrant celebration of creativity, talent and friendship. This year, the fest embraced the exciting theme ‘Adventure Island’, setting the stage for a day filled with imagination, exploration and spirited performances.

CRAFTASTIC
Sushila Birla Girls’ School hosted ‘Craftastic’, a three-day handicrafts exhibition and sale event, organised in collaboration with Banglanatak.com. The event aimed to showcase and sell a diverse range of traditional handcrafted items. The exhibition featured various items that included Sabai, Kashi, Grass, Kantha, Dokra, Terracotta and Chhau Masks.

On 11th March 2025, the students of Lower Nursery presented a delightful concert titled ‘The Mystery of the Missing Stripes’. The performance featured a playful and engaging narrative where various animals—bears, giraffes and monkeys—worked together to help Zelda, the zebra, find her missing stripes, deftly stolen by the mischievous tiger, Sher Khan.

On 7th February 2025, Pre-Primary students gathered for a thrilling day of novelty races, stepping away from their usual routines to embrace fun and friendly competition. Children from Lower Nursery to Upper Kindergarten eagerly took part in a variety of engaging races designed to encourage physical activity, teamwork and sportsmanship.

The Earth Keepers – A Magical Performance with a Powerful Message.
Earth was once pristine, but now climate change is threatening its beauty. Ice caps are melting and the weather pattern has become unpredictable.
Alarmed but not hopeless, the ‘Earth Keepers’ of Upper Nursery take prompt action. With compassion and determination, little Santa and his friends work to slow down climate change and restore a white Christmas.
Saraswati Puja 2025

On 3rd February 2025, Saraswati Puja was celebrated with great reverence at Sushila Birla Girls’ School. Students and teachers came together to celebrate Basant Panchami which marks the arrival of spring. Prayers were offered to Goddess Saraswati, seeking her blessings for wisdom, knowledge and success.
The ceremony included the chanting of hymns, the recitation of Saraswati Vandana and the performance of various rituals, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasad, spreading joy and devotion among all present.
