On 22nd November 2024, Sushila Birla Girls' School hosted a delightful concert featuring a marvellous rendition of Beauty and the Beast by our Lower Kindergarten students. The little actors brought their unique energy and enthusiasm to the stage, creating a magical retelling of this beloved tale.

The audience was captivated by Belle's kindness and the Beast's transformation into a charming prince, beautifully portrayed by our little stars. Their confidence and creativity lit up the stage, leaving everyone spellbound.

The Annual Blood Donation Camp was conducted by Sneh, the social service unit of Sushila Birla Girls' School in collaboration with Project Life Force on September 27, 2024. Dr. Amrit Pipara and Dr. Priyanka Pipara, Chief Guests of the programme, jointly inaugurated the same and inspired the students with their motivational speeches. The donors included parents, teachers and staff and the donated blood was collected by Lion's Club Blood Bank.

On 24th and 25th September 2024, Sushila Birla Girls’ School organized a ‘Science Fiesta’ in school premises.
Students from Classes II-XI participated in the event. Science was celebrated through a variety of engaging and
interactive activities, designed to make it accessible and fun for students across all age groups. The fiesta enabled
teamwork and cooperation among students. The main purpose of the event was to prove how Physics, Chemistry
and Biology provide us with solutions to improve our daily lives.

To celebrate the International Day of Peace on 21st September, 45 students from Classes III, IV and V engaged in a collaborative exchange project aligned with SDG 16, emphasising global solidarity. They partnered with peers from SK Canossian Convent in Malaysia, Institución Educativa Leonidas Acuña sede hogar del niño in Colombia and welcomed a special guest from Morocco.

Sushila Birla Memorial Day was celebrated on the 4th of October 2024 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium with a grand production titled 'Montage', showcasing the vignettes of Bengal. The programme was graced by the presence of Mrs Birla and other dignitaries.

On 18th September 2024, Sushila Birla Girls' School hosted an art workshop in collaboration with Alliance Française du Bengale. The participants were 20 students from Birla High School Moira Street, Birla High School Mukundapur and Sushila Birla Girls' School.

On 15th August 2023, Sushila Birla Girls’ School celebrated the 77th Independence Day in the school premises. This was followed by the Felicitation Ceremony for the high achievers of AISSCE 2023 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium. The programme was graced by dignitaries, parents and students of the school. Five meritorious students from Sushila Birla Girls’ School were awarded by Vidya Mandir Society with a medal and certificate each for their exemplary performance in AISSCE 2023.

Magical March 3.0 comprised a series of workshops organised for the students of Classes Nursery to V.

Resource people were invited to conduct most of the sessions which included workshops on mask painting, clay modelling, acapella, drama, rhythmic yoga and zumba.

Apart from being full of fun and vigour, the workshops aimed at boosting the self-esteem of students, providing them hands-on training in specialised areas and stimulating their creativity and imagination.
