National Space Day 2024

To celebrate the first National Space Day on 23rd August 2024, the students of Classes III and IV participated in a series of enriching and fun activities organised by NCERT.

Smile Makers 2024

Sushila Birla Girls’ School is dedicated to continuously reinforcing its guiding principles and ethos. On August 20th, we had the pleasure of hosting children from 'Smile Makers,' an NGO run by dedicated college students, as integral participants in our school curriculum.

The day began with a bilingual assembly featuring performances by both our students and the visiting children, followed by the tying of 'rakhis' to celebrate the beginning of new friendships.

Independence Day 2024

On 15th August 2024, Sushila Birla Girls’ School celebrated the 78th Independence Day in the school premises with flag hoisting and a small cultural programme. This was followed by the Felicitation Ceremony for the high achievers of AISSCE 2023-24 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium. The programme was graced by dignitaries, teachers, parents and students. Five meritorious students from Sushila Birla Girls’ School were awarded by Vidya Mandir Society with a medal and certificate each for their exemplary performance.

Van Mahotsav 2024

On 22nd July 2024, students and teachers of Sushila Birla Girls' School celebrated Van Mahotsav by welcoming Dr. Falguni Dey, Chief Guest, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Women's Christian College, renowned poet and avid mountaineer for the second edition of the school's sapling plantation drive. Dr. Dey conducted a workshop where students were taught how to make seed bombs. Students took a pledge to envelop their surroundings in greenery and contribute to a healthier environment.

LKG Monsoon Activity 2024

The students of Lower Kindergarten had a delightful time celebrating the monsoon season on July 22nd, 2024. Dressed in colourful raincoats and carrying umbrellas, they enjoyed activities like fishing and sailing paper boats in a tub of water. They bubbled with enthusiasm as they did blow painting on terracotta pots and crafted raincoats out of leaves. A lively frog race and dance further added to the monsoon magic.

Convergence 2024

Convergence 2024 was a red letter day in the school calendar this year. It offered the students a break from routine and provided them with the opportunity to showcase their talent. The event comprised a series of cultural, sporting and academic activities designed to foster creativity, camaraderie and healthy competition among students. While the off-stage events took place on Saturday, 13th July, the on-stage events took place at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium on 16th July 2024. University Fair 2024

Sushila Birla Girls' School hosted a University Fair for students of Classes XI and XII on 9th July 2024, aiming to provide them with a platform to explore a myriad career options. A total of 118 universities participated in the event, with 45 prestigious institutions from India among them. Some of the universities that took part included Flame University, Ahmedabad University, GD Goenka University, St. Xavier’s University, Essex Business School, and the New York Film Academy.

Doctor's Day 2024

Doctor’s Day was observed by the students of Upper KG on 4th July 2024. Dr. Sankhapani Mishra, an esteemed general physician and parent, imparted invaluable advice on maintaining good health. He fascinated the students with the demonstration of a stethoscope and injection. He also emphasised upon the preventive measures to be taken to avoid falling ill.

Junior Council Investiture 2024

Sushila Birla Girls’ School reinforced its faith in its students by honouring them with leadership positions on Friday, 28.6.24 during the Junior Council Investiture ceremony.

Chief Guest, Lieutenant Col. Susan Roy with her words of motivation urged the students to achieve their goals and move forward with self-confidence and determination.

International Mud Day 2024

On 28th June 2024, the Upper Nursery students celebrated International Mud Day with a lot of enthusiasm. They joyfully moulded modelling clay into tablets, embellishing them with their initials and decorative flowers. They experienced the feel of wet mud on their little palms and used it to express their creativity beautifully on worksheets. The hands-on learning experience made the day memorable and exciting for everyone involved.
