Founded by Chandragupta Maurya, the dynasty marks an era of
social harmony and religious transformation. The symbol of the Maurya
House, the sapling, stands for life and growth. ‘Tree is green, green is our
land; Mauryas Mauryas on the victory stand.’
The House takes its name from the famous Kushan Empire formed
in the early 1st century AD, known for its fearlessness. The symbol of the
Kushan House is the white dove, which symbolises peace and harmony. ‘Go
Kushans knock them down. On your head get the crown.’
The blue flag of the Chalukya House symbolises integrity and
confidence and the blooming lotus stands for faith and undying hope. ‘We
are Chalukyas, we bleed blue; We are better than all of you.’
