The annual event of Sneh- Smayan includes a host of activities tailored for school children with different needs and abilities.

Smayan took place on the 15th and 18th of December, 2018 and the tagline was 'Abling Minds and Disabling Mindsets'. The offstage events took place on the 15th and the theme for decorations was 'Christmas.' The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Jijo Das and Mrs Krishna Roy. Jijo Das is a passionate artist and illustrator with Down's Syndrome.

Quizennius 2018

Event Date: 16-11-2025

An Inter-School Quiz Competition, Quizzenius, 2018 organized by Sushila Birla Girls' School was held on Sushila Birla Memorial Day, 4th October, 2018.

Quizmaster of the competition was Barry O’Brien, a renowned Quiz Master.

18 schools had participated out of which eight schools qualified for the finals. The first round was the written round.

Sipping, Sharing and Parenting

'Sipping, Sharing and Parenting' was a candid session with the parents conducted by the Principal on Saturday, 29th June 2024. The session was intended to find effective ways to inculcate values in students so that they grow up to be global citizens.


 

‘Understanding Leadership’

Event Date: 16-11-2025

On 29th and 30th April 2024, Meaghan Blight, President of Wesleyan College, USA conducted a workshop on ‘Understanding Leadership’ for students of Classes XI and XII. The session was followed by ‘Circle Painting’ conducted by Alexis Greg, Executive Director of CEO (Creating Equal Opportunities) Leadership Lab and Faculty of Art and it highlighted the connection between art, self-awareness, leadership and principles of design.

Magical March 4.0 Senior Section

Event Date: 16-11-2025

Magical March 4.0, held on 18th and 19th March 2024, offered a plethora of workshops and activities for the students of Classes VI to VIII. The sessions included workshops on 24 musical instruments, Cajon, public speaking in Bengali, Sholapith, Eco Printing, Tie & Dye and Pottery. The choreography session on Hip-Hop and Bharatanatyam culturally enriched the young minds. Also, the workshops on Kalaripayattu and Archery were designed to improve physical fitness. The various inter house competitions fostered a spirit of healthy competition among the students.
