A team of 12 students from Classes III, IV & V participated in a Poster-making Competition, ‘Together for Clean Air’, to celebrate International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies. More than 43 schools and 275 students across states of West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha participated in the event organised by SwitchOn Foundation.

Mishika Kothari of Class III was declared the winner and Anushri Garani of Class IV was the 1st runner-up in the junior category.

At the Telegraph School Awards for Excellence 2024, held on 10th August, Sushila Birla Girls’ School emerged as a beacon of excellence, securing multiple accolades. The awards are a validation to the hard work put in by the students and the teachers of the school. Honour certificates were awarded in the following categories :

On 10th July 2024, the 25th L. N. Birla Memorial Invitational Debate was conducted by Birla High School, Moira Street at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium. 8 schools participated in this reputed debate. The session was chaired by eminent physician and debater, Dr. Kunal Sarkar who kept the audience entertained with snippets of wisdom.

On 6 July 2024, the meritorious students of Sushila Birla Girls’ School  were felicitated by ‘Prabhat Khabar’. The felicitation ceremony was held at the National Library where top 7 students from Class X (AISSE) and top 6 students from Class XII (AISSCE) were awarded the ‘Pratibha Samman’ while Principal, Mrs. K. Dey was conferred with ‘Guru Samman’.

On 9th June 2024, Ram Avtar Gupta Hindi Protsahan Awards 2024 was organised by Sanmarg, the Hindi daily at the G D Birla Sabhagar auditorium.
