Dear Parents,
We are happy to inform that Project Life Force along with SNEH, the social service unit of SBGS is organizing a blood donation camp on Friday 12th October 2018 in the AVR from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. We would be delighted if you volunteer to donate blood and thus help to make this noble effort a grand success.
Please note that students of Classes XI and XII will report to school at 8:15 am and dispersed at 12:30 pm. However, those having specific responsibilities in the blood donation camp need to stay till 2:45 pm.
There will be normal classes for all the other students.

Dear Parents,
The students of the senior section will celebrate Teachers’ Day on Monday, 1st October 2018. Please note the school timings for that day.
Nursery – Class III - Regular school timings
Class IV - 8:15 am – 1:35 pm
Class V - 8:15 am – 1:40 pm
Please note that Activity Classes (Quiz, Drama and Computer) held after school will remain suspended on Monday , 1st October 2018.

Dear Parents,
The students of Class III will be taken to “JUST BAKED”, on Hungerford Street (opposite Minto Park) for a shopping activity.
Class III A & B will go on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018 and Class III C & D will go on Thursday, 4th October, 2018 between 8.30am and 10.00am.
Each student should carry a small shopping bag and Rs.50/- for her purchases.
We would be grateful if a few parents could accompany us. Parents who are willing to volunteer are requested to notify the same through their daughter’s diary by Friday, 28th September, 2018.

MONDAY ● Pav Bhaji OR Vegetable Poha
● Peanut Chikki
TUESDAY ● Tomato Rice OR Dal Chilla
● Any seasonal fruit
WEDNESDAY ● Poori with Dry Chana OR Pasta with vegetables.
● Any sweet
THURSDAY ● Vegetable Vermicelli OR Idli & Chutney
● Tomato & cucumber salad
FRIDAY ● Paneer Paratha OR Paneer - aaloo Tikki & bread
● A slice of cake
N.B.
- Nuts are healthy and may be added to your daughter’s tiffin every day.
- Minimum oil should be used.
- The quantity of the food packed should be appropriate to the appetite of your child.
- A napkin must be brought daily to school.
- Do not send packaged food items like chips and Kurkure. Home-made chips or popcorn are better substitutes.

In a rapidly changing world, it is the onus of teachers and parents, to understand impressionable young minds and mould them as effectively as possible. Therefore, it has always been our endeavour to promote excellence in our children by exploring and implementing innovative strategies.
With this in view, we are organizing “Lets Talk : Focussing on Attention, Concentration, Memory and Study Skills”, an interactive session with Professor Rajlakshmi Guha of the Centre for Educational Technology of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur on Saturday, 6th October 2018 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Centre for Performing Arts (CPA).
We invite both parents to the session and look forward to your active participation. Registration begins at 11:00 am.
Please fill up the tear off slip given below and send it to your daughter’s Class Teacher by 27th September 2018.
