NON-FLAME COOKING – CLASSES I & II

Total Number of students who participated from Class II: 118

Students of Classes I (Section A) & II (Sections A, B, C, and D) participated in a non-flame cooking activity. They prepared Aloo Kabli, Churmur, Jhal Muri and Narkel Naru—traditional foods of West Bengal—as well as Kosambari, Neer Mor, Thair Aval and Vella Aval, which are popular dishes from Tamil Nadu.

Athletics Meet organized by MHS

On 24th November, our school participated in the Inter-School Athletics Meet organised by MHS at the CCFC ground.

Pathabhaban Exchange Programme

An enriching Educational Exchange Programme was held between Sushila Birla Girls’ School, Kolkata and Patha Bhavana, Santiniketan from 27th–29th January 2026. The programme fostered cultural understanding, academic collaboration and experiential learning through collaborative activities, academic sessions and educational visits to the High Court and East Kolkata Wetlands. Cultural exposure through the Kolkata Book Fair and a theatrical performance of Macbeth added to the experience.

Visit to Asha School Winter Carnival

Seven students from Classes II–IV of Sushila Birla Girls’ School: Navya Shah (IV A), Harshita Periwal (IV A), Ishika Kochar (IV B), Adhira Basak (III A), Akriti Jhunjhunwala (III A), Vaidehi Bhalotia (II C) and Saanchal Baid (II C) participated in the ASHA School Winter Carnival on 11th December 2025. They played games, interacted with students from other special schools, clapped and cheered for all, gave impromptu music and dance performances, enjoyed photo shoots and experienced a warm, inclusive environment.

Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected Senior School Student Council was held on 6th February 2026 at Sushila Birla Girls’ School. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Ms Shaleni Bbiswas, Founder and Managing Director of Easy Note Stationery Pvt. Ltd. Her address was both inspiring and thought-provoking, urging the students to lead with confidence, integrity and purpose while recognising the responsibility that accompanies leadership. Each word resonated deeply, reinforcing the transformative role young leaders play within the school community.
