In advance of the commemoration of Vijay Diwas, a wonderful and inspiring show was attended by 18 students on Saturday, 13th December 2025, at the Kolkata Race Course. The programme was organised to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces and to instill a sense of patriotism among the youth.

The event featured a series of spectacular and engaging demonstrations that left the audience deeply impressed. One of the major highlights was a spectacular drone show, which created stunning visual patterns in the sky and conveyed patriotic themes through technology.

Annual Health Checkup 2025

Sushila Birla Girls’ School organised a comprehensive health checkup for all students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff from 17th November 2025.  

The programme included ENT, eye, dental and general physician consultations, along with blood sugar and blood pressure screening for students from Class IX and above. 

Conducted in association with Desun Hospital, the initiative reflects S.B.G.S.’s commitment to the belief that a healthy school is the foundation of a strong future.

The originality of the human brain and innovation is often disrupted when it hears the word ‘traditional’. As tedious as the word is in general, when paired with education or degrees, it tends to produce what feels like the most monotonous combination imaginable. Bringing limelight to traditional degrees, these programmes follow a conventional approach of conducting education, fastening on standard modes of learning through handbooks, lectures and examinations.

Building Sustainability: The Power of Young, Global Voices

On 18th November, Class V students of Sushila Birla Girls' School and St. Mary’s School, Folkestone, Kent, UK, held a collaborative online ice-breaking session that strengthened their shared commitment to SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. Students exchanged ideas on responsible consumption, choosing local products, reducing plastic use, and composting food waste. This cross-cultural interaction enabled young learners to gain global perspectives and deepen their dedication to sustainable practices.
