In 2015, Mark Carney, then Governor of the Bank of England, coined the term ‘Tragedy of the Horizon’ to describe the challenges of climate change. It talked about how the present generation had little to no incentive to work towards climate change and how that would have a catastrophic impact on the future generations.

First Aid Training Session

On 27th February 2026, First Aid training was conducted under the aegis of the Charnock Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Saima Nasreen. Basic life-saving techniques and emergency care were demonstrated by the facilitators,guiding participants on how to respond effectively during medical emergencies, emphasising the importance of immediate assistance before professional help arrives.
