    Nursery – Class XII

    Dear Parents,

    We are happy to inform you that the Sushila Birla Girls’ School Alumnae Association is organizing a Carnival on the 11th and 12th of November ’17 in the school premises from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

    You are cordially invited to attend the same with your family and friends. You are requested to carry the paper invite which will be given to your ward as this will entitle her to free entry.

    And while the given schedule is not watertight you are requested to follow it as far as possible :

    11th November (Saturday)   - Classes VI – XII.

    12th November (Sunday)    - Nursery –  Class V.

    Class III

    Dear Parent,

    It has recently come to our notice that a part of the Zoological Gardens has been identified as a breeding ground of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito causing Dengue.

    As a precaution the class III field trip to the zoo on Wednesday, 8th November 2017 stands cancelled.

    Please note that the money (Rs.20/- that was collected for the entry ticket) has been returned to the students.

    Classes I – XII

    Dear Parent,

    Please note the following with regard to Tuesday, 14th November, 2017.

    Classes for Nursery and K.G. will be suspended on Tuesday, 14th November, 2017.

    Students of Classes I – XII will be celebrating Children’s Day in school that day.  

    Please note the Reporting & Dismissal timings:-

    Classes I- VI

    Reporting Time:           8.15 am

    Dismissal Time:

    • Class I and VI :   10.30 am
    • Class II :              10.45 am
    • Class III :             11.00 am
    • Class IV :             11.15 am
    • Class V :              11.30 am

    Classes VII – XII

    Reporting Time:           10.00 am

    Dismissal Time:           12.00 noon

    Please also note that students may wear coloured clothes to school on Tuesday, 14th November 2017.

    Students of Nursery and K.G. will be celebrating Children’s Day in school on Monday 13th November 2017. Students may come in coloured clothes. Normal school timings will be followed on that day.

    Please also note that classes will remain suspended for Nursery and K.G. on Tuesday, 14th November 2017.

    Classes VI – XII

    Dear Parents,

    This is to inform you that we will start Sports Practice in the Maidan from Monday 6th November.  This year too we will practise at the Calcutta University Ground which is adjacent to Calcutta Rangers Club.  The timings will be from 6:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

    All Houses will practise together on the following dates :

    6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 29th, 30th  November and 

    1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th and 21st December 2017)

    The above schedule is to be strictly followed by all concerned.  Should you receive any verbal  intimation regarding the above you are requested to ignore the same. All information regarding Maidan practice will reach you via a notice on the school website.

    During practice our teachers will be on duty as well as our security staff.  However, we would also welcome help from parents.  If you are interested please inform us through a note in your daughter’s diary.
