    K.G. to Class V

    Dear Parent,

    Given below is the menu for the month of October and November 2023. Please follow it from Tuesday, 3.10.2023.

    MONDAY:         Rava idli / Vada pav, deseeded dates / any seasonal fruit.

    TUESDAY:          Beetroot cutlet/ paneer sandwich, almonds, any seasonal fruit.

    WEDNESDAY:  Aloo Chaat with Sprouts Salad, grapes/ any seasonal fruit.

    THURSDAY:     Bread Pulao with Vegetables, cookies, peanuts, any seasonal fruit.

    FRIDAY:            Vegetable burger / Vegetable pasta, fox nuts, any seasonal fruit.

    N.B.

    The quantity of the food packed should be appropriate to the appetite of your child.

    • Sufficient drinking water must be carried to school.

    • A napkin must be carried to school daily.

    • Fork/Spoon should be carried every day.

    • Packaged food items should not be sent.

    • Nuts are healthy and may be added to your daughter’s tiffin every day.

    • Easily digestible food should be provided.

    • Fried food should be avoided.

    • Minimum oil should be used.

    • It is advisable to give an extra tiffin to the students on club days.

    Classes VI - XII

    Dear Parents,

    Sushila Birla Memorial Day will be celebrated on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th October, 2023 with a musical extravaganza,  ‘The Roll of the Dice’.  

    The dress rehearsal for the same will take place on 29th September, 2023 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium.  All non- participating students from Classes VII - XII are requested to directly report to the Vidya Mandir auditorium and be seated by 2:30 pm. 

    Dismissal will take place from school at 4:30 pm.

    Kindly note for Class VI, classes will remain suspended.

    This is to inform you that classes for students of Nursery to Class V will remain suspended on the following days on account of Sushila Birla Memorial Day.

    • Wednesday, 4th October 2023

    • Thursday, 5th October 2023 

    However, participants are expected to report to school according to the scheduled time given to them separately.

    Classes X & XII

    Dear Parents,

    Like every year, this year too we will be observing “Daan Utsav” – the joy of giving week, for it is in giving that we receive.

    Students of Classes X & XII will be extending their support to Thakurnagar Nanda Mahila Vidyapith Khejuri, Purba Mednipur, by providing the inmates of the school umbrellas, folding racks for books, ceiling fans, inverter & battery, grass cutter and aluminium rods for handing clothes.

    On 18th October, two student representatives from each section accompanied by two teachers will go and hand over the items.

    In this regard, we would request you to make this endeavour a success by your generosity.

    Class XII (Only Psychology students)

    Dear Parents,

    All Psychology students (43) of Class XII, will be reporting directly to Antara Hospital, VIII Hariharpur, Dakshin Gobindapur P.O., Bariupur P.S., West Bengal – 700145 at 9:00 am sharp on 19th September, 2023.

    This is an educational excursion, 2 Faculty members, Ranjana Roy and Ranjana Das will accompany students during the excursion.  Students will remain in the hospital premises till 2:00 pm, after which they will be dispersed from Antara Hospital.

    The above mentioned students will therefore, not be attending school on 19th September.

    This is to inform you that individual counselling sessions, the final round of the Career Counselling Programme by Career DNA for the students of Class X, will be held on 20th and 21st September 2023.

    Parents will have to accompany their wards for these sessions as per the given dates:

    XA and XB     ---  20th September 2023

    XC and XD    ---   21st September 2023

    The time slot for each student will be shared by the Class Teacher in due course.
