    Dear Parents,

    This is to inform you that we, under the aegis of the Science Olympiad Foundation, is organizing a Science Olympiad in November 2017 and a Mathematics Olympiad in December 2017.

    The participation fee per subject is Rs.120/-.  Please note that participation is optional.
     
    Students from Classes III to XII who are interested in participating, may give their names along with the participation fee in a sealed envelope to their respective Class Teacher by 15th September 2017.

    Further details about the date and syllabus will be provided at the time of registration.

    • Nuts are healthy and may be added to your daughter’s tiffin every day.
    • Minimum oil should be used.
    • The quantity of the food packed should be appropriate to the appetite of your child.
    • A napkin must be brought daily to school.
    • Do not send packaged food items like chips and Kurkure. Home-made chips or popcorn are better substitutes.

    Dear Parent,

    This is to inform you that students of Class I will be taken for a walk to Victoria Square, 1 Albert Road, Kolkata - 700017, within school hours on Tuesday, 22nd August 2017. Students will be accompanied by teachers and two parents from each section.

    Please note that children will be reporting to school and dismissed at normal school time.

    Dear Parent,

    Daan Utsav, India’s “festival of giving”, is celebrated every year from 2nd – 8th October. Millions of Indians from all walks of life, come together during this week to give their time, money and resources to society in some form or the other.

    We at Sushila Birla Girls’ School will also be participating in this programme.

    The students of Class V have decided to contribute towards the cost of board games, stationery and ceiling fans to Tiljala Shed, 53 Tiljala Road, Kolkata – 700 046.

    A few students along with their teachers and some parents will visit Tiljala Shed on Saturday, 16th September 2017 to hand over the above mentioned items.

    Kindly send Rs. 150/- in a sealed envelope to your daughter’s class teacher towards the cost of the above by Monday, 21st August 2017.
