    Classes  IX & XI

    Dear Parents,

    It has come to our notice that students of Classes IX and XI are roaming around in groups and congregating in eateries nearby early in the morning before the school gates open.  To address this issue please note that the school gates will now open daily from 7:30 a.m.

    Considering the current situation all precautions are being taken by the school authorities.  Students are expected to enter the school premises directly when they reach.

    Dear Parents,

    This is to inform you that a virtual Open House with the class teacher of your daughter will take place on Friday, 3rd December 2021.

    You will be intimated about the time slot in due course.

    In case you wish to meet any other teacher taking classes with your ward, please write an email to the headmistress at headmistress@sbgskolkata.ac.in by Tuesday, 30th November 2021 by 12:00 noon.

    Please mention your contact number along with your daughter’s name and class in the email. The teacher concerned will get in touch with you.

    This is to inform you that on account of the untimely demise of Mrs. Purnima Ravindran, senior faculty member of the school, a prayer service is being organized on Friday, 26th November 2021 at 12 noon.

    Therefore, classes will remain suspended on that day from 11 am onwards.

    Classes VI - IX

    Dear Parents,

    As some of you were unable to collect certificates of your wards for the session 2020-21 on the designated date, you may collect the same on Wednesday, 24th November or Friday, 26th November 2021.

    The certificates can be collected from Mrs. Ruth Massey on the above mentioned days between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. only.

    If you are unable to come to school on these days, please depute a person to collect the certificates on your behalf and inform the school about the same through an email. Kindly ensure that your representative carries a letter from you authorizing him/her to collect the certificates on your behalf.

    IMP: Please refer to Notice No. 72/2021-22 which states that visitors coming to school must carry their final covid certificate (soft/hard copies), failing which they will not be allowed to enter the school premises.

    The certificates can be collected from Mrs. R. Sethi (Junior school office) on the above mentioned days between 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. only.
