• Nursery to Class V

    Dear Parents,

Our online classes have been running successfully for some time now. However, after due consideration and the advice given by experts in this field we have decided to reduce the duration of each academic period by 10 minutes. This new time schedule will come into effect from Monday, 22nd June,2020.

We understand the children in their free time play games etc. on the digital platform for relaxation. Since time spent on a digital device is an issue here, kindly ensure that they do not do indulge in such activities and save screen time for school work.

    Thank you,
    Yours sincerely,

    Vidisha Panja

    KG to Class VIII

    Dear Parents,

Co-curricular activities are an integral part of school life and we, at Sushila Birla Girls’ School try our best to strike a balance between curricular and co-curricular activities to ensure the development of all the facets of a child’s personality.

Due to the present pandemic situation, students might not be able to attend regular school for a while but our teachers, through the Google Meet platform, will hold interactive sessions with them every week so that co-curricular experiences are imparted to them virtually, in the best possible way.

Please make a note of the following in this regard:

       • Kindergarten students will have Music and Dance Classes on Saturday mornings in two slots (10:00 - 10:40 a.m. and 11:00 - 11:40 a.m.)

       • Students of Classes I to V will have Art, Music, Dance and Physical Education Classes during week days in the evenings, in either of the two slots (5:00 - 5:40 p.m. or 6:00 - 6:40 p.m.)

       • Students of Classes VI to VIII will have ADM (Art, Dance and Music) and Physical Education Classes during week days in the evenings, in either of the two slots (5:00 - 5:40 p.m. or 6:00 - 6:40 p.m.)

Co-curricular classes will commence from Monday, 15th June 2020. A detailed schedule will be sent to you shortly.

    Thank you,
    Yours sincerely,

  • Nursery

    Dear Parents,

We are indeed living in very difficult times. Countries around the world including India are battling this pandemic. Life as we know it has changed dramatically.

Initially we felt that even after the lockdown is lifted and regular classes resume after June 10th, there would be adequate time to cover the syllabus and prepare the students. However, in the light of the current situation where they may not be able to resume their “normal” academic life at least in the next few months, we have decided to initiate online classes for those who have taken admission in Nursery for the session 2020-21 from Monday, June 1st 2020. Click on the link given below to see the section assigned to your daughter.

Class teachers will get in touch with you and provide you with an official ID which will enable the students to participate in these sessions through Google Classroom. These classes will take place from Monday to Friday according to a time table, the details of which will be shared with you shortly.

You are requested to make the necessary arrangements that will aid you to continue with your ward’s formal education within the safety of your homes.

I deeply appreciate the patience you have shown and I firmly believe that together we will definitely be successful in overcoming all odds.

Let me end with the empowering words of Mahatma Gandhi, who said “If I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning”.

I pray that all of you continue to remain safe and in good health.

    Thank you.

    Yours truly,
