    Dear Parents,

    A career counselling programme has been organized for the students of Class XI for which attendance is compulsory.  Career DNA from Kolkata is conducting this programme.

    A Comprehensive Profile Assessment and Psychometric Assessment will take place on 18th September 2019.  After the Precise Career Report has been generated a Group Counseling session and Career Workshops (stream wise) will be held on 6th and 7th November 2019. 

    Should you require individual counseling and complete career guidance service you may contact them at their centre on Lake View Road. The cost of which is  Rs.600/- and Rs.1000/- respectively.

    Dear Parents,

    A career counseling programme has been organized for the students of Class X which is compulsory for all the students.  This year we have selected Career DNA from Kolkata for this programme.  The programme includes :

    1.  Psychometric Assessment
    2. Group Counselling
    3. Individual Counselling

    The entire programme will take place on 23rd and 24th September 2019.   Parents will have to accompany their wards for the Individual Counselling session and will be informed of the time slot by the Class teacher.

    The fee charged will be Rs.1500/- per student.  Please note the required amount has to be submitted in cash / cheque in favour of “Sushila Birla Girls’ School” to the class teacher by 6th September 2019.

    Dear Parents,

    This is to inform you that Class X students have to come to school on the dates given below for a compulsory First Aid training to be conducted in school by St. John Ambulance Association :

    1. Saturday, 14th September 2019    -  8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    2. Saturday, 21st September 2019    -  8:00 a.m. to  12:30 p.m.

    Moreover, students have to stay back in school till 4:00 p.m. on Friday, 27th September 2019 as an examination will be conducted from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.   All successful trainees will be issued a certificate by the National Head Quarter of St. John Ambulance, New Delhi in due course.

    Students will celebrate Teachers’ Day on Thursday, 5th September 2019.  Please note the school timings for that day.

    Nursery         -        8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

    KG                 -        8:15 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

    Class I           -        8:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

    Class II          -        8:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

    Class III         -        8:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

    Class IV         -        8:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

    Class V          -        8:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

    We would like to remind you that no gifts or bouquets etc. may be presented to the teachers.  However, children may show their appreciation through cards.

    Dear Parent,

    Here is the menu for the month of September 2019. Please follow it from Monday, 2nd September 2019.

    MONDAY                    • Corn Sandwich, dry peanut chikki and coconut slices.                                                           

    TUESDAY                   • Dal Chilla, pomegranate and dates.                             

    WEDNESDAY             • Saboo dana potato tikki (shallow fry ), chaas, peanut.                                   

    THURSDAY                • Beetroot idli, almond and raisin, plum/sweet lime fruit.                                      

    FRIDAY                       • Vegetable uttapam, fruit salad and cheese slice.

    N.B. 

    •     The quantity of the food packed should be appropriate to the appetite of your child.

    •     A napkin must be brought daily to school.

    •     Do not send packaged food items like chips and Kurkure.

    •     Nuts are healthy and may be added to your daughter’s tiffin every day.

    •     Minimum oil should be used.
