    Classes VI – XII

    Dear Parents,

    This is to inform you that we will start Sports Practice in the Maidan from Thursday 15th November.  This year too we will practise at the grounds outside Parsi Club.  The timings will be from 6:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

    All Houses will practise together on the following dates :

    15th, 16th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 26th , 27, 28th, 29th, 30th November and 

    3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th December 2018.

    The above schedule is to be strictly followed by all concerned.  However, on some of these dates, students of Classes VI and VII have reviews and they may therefore, opt not to go for the practice.

    Should you receive any verbal intimation regarding the above you are requested to ignore the same.  All information regarding Maidan practice will reach you via a notice on the school website.

    During practice our teachers will be on duty as well as our security staff.  However, we would also welcome help from parents.  If you are interested please inform us through a note in your daughter’s diary.

    Nursery - Class XII

    Dear Parent,

    This is to inform you that as in previous years, this year too we will be collecting old warm clothes. You may also contribute saris, petticoats, t-shirts etc. These will be handed over to Sharehouse Charitable Foundation for distribution to Jungle Mahal villagers, the Sunderban islands, villages in South 24 Parganas, orphanages, etc.

    If you wish to contribute, please send the above through your daughter to her class teacher. Collection will be from Wednesday, 14th November to Thursday, 22nd November 2018.

    Please ensure that the clothes are clean, in a wearable condition, not worn out/ not torn/ have required fasteners etc. and are neatly packed.

    Dear Parent,

    In keeping with our policy of encouraging ‘Learning by Doing’, we have planned an educational tour to Murshidabad in February 2019. We are planning it as an outdoor classroom which will cover History and Geography lessons and hence urge you to consider the trip as compulsory. Should you have any questions regarding this, please meet the undersigned or the Co-ordinator Mrs. S. Kapur.

    The dates for the tour are 6th, 7th  & 8th February 2019. An itinerary is being sent separately through your daughter.

    Please fill in the tear off slip below, enclose a Pay Order of Rs. 4200/- drawn in favour of ‘Sushila Birla Girls’ School’ and send it to your daughter’s class teacher by Wednesday, 21st November 2018. Please note that cash / cheques will not be accepted.

    This is to inform you that Children’s Day will be celebrated in the CPA on 14th  November 2018.  Please note that the students have to be in school according to the  following schedule : -

    Class VI                                                      -           9:30am to 11:30 am

    Classes VII - IX                                           -           11:00 am to 1:00 pm

    Classes X - XII                                            -           12:15pm to 2:00 pm

    Students may come in coloured clothes.
