• Classes I – V

    Dear Parent,

    We are sending you a list of articles that will be needed for your daughter’s Art Classes. Please arrange to procure them during the Summer Vacations at your convenience and keep them at home. They are to be sent to school when asked for by the Art Teacher.

    Class I

            1. Ice cream sticks - 60 pieces
            2. Multicoloured A4 size fabriano sheets - 1 packet
            3. White blank cards - 3 pieces
            4. ½ inch satin ribbon (any colour) - 1 roll
            5. Acrylic colours (15ml)- yellow, red, blue, green, black, orange and white
            6. A pencil with an eraser on one end
            7. Small size ‘chhakalia’ (for making Rakhi)- 1 piece
            8. Multicoloured sequins - 20 grams
            9. Red and gold glitter tubes (30ml)- 1 each
           10. A small cotton roll
           11. Wooden pegs - 3 pieces
           12. Small size googly eyes - 5 pairs
           13. Black round bindis ( size 3) - 1 leaf
           14. Medium size (20 cm diameter) white paper plates - 3 pieces
           15. Thick plastic straws ( any colour) - 5 pieces

    Class II

            1. 1 packet A4 size Fabriano sheets (Multi coloured)
            2. 1 quilling kit with quilling pen or needle (entire body of the quilling pen or needle should be of plastic) and quilling strips (5mm width) – (Red, Yellow, Green, Orange, White, Brown and Blue) Each colour - 1 Packet
            3. 2 packets of Plush Iron Wire (Multi coloured).
            4. 1 box poster colour (set of 6)
            5. Brush No. ‘6’ and No. ‘12’ (1 each)

    Class III 

           1.  1 packet A4 size Fabriano sheets (Multi coloured)
           2. Quilling strips of 5mm width (Red, Yellow, Green, Orange, White, Brown and Blue) Each colour- 1 Packet
           3.  1 earthen plate or “Shora”, diameter 28 cm
           4.  2 rolls of masking tape (Width - one and half inches or two inches)
           5.  1 white Mount Board 
           6.  1 roll of one fourth inch ribbon of any colour
           7.  2 packets of Plush Iron Wire (Multi coloured)

    Class IV

          1.  1 packet A4 size Fabriano sheets (Multi coloured) 
          2.  1 earthen pot, height 30cm (Do not bring plant pots)
          3.  1 roll of one fourth inch ribbon of any colour
          4.  1 White Mount Board
          5.  2 rolls of masking tape (Width - one and half inches or two inches)
          6. Quilling strips of 5mm width (Red, Yellow, Green, Orange, White, Brown and Blue). Each colour- 1 Packet

    Class V

         1.  1 packet A4 size Fabriano sheets (Multi coloured)
         2.  1 set of glass painting colours (set of 6)
         3.  2 masking tapes (width one and half inch or two inches)
         4.  2 pieces of white mount board
         5.  Handmade paper-Orange,Medium Blue,White – ( Each colour 2 sheets)
         6.  1 roll of one fourth inch ribbon of any colour
         7. Quilling strips of 5mm width (Red, Yellow, Green, Orange, White, Brown and Blue). Each colour- 1 Packet
         8.  4 A4 size OHP sheets

    If students have any leftover items from the last academic session, they may use the same.

  • Nursery - Class XII

    Dear Parents,

    Sushila Birla Girls’ School is celebrating its 25th year during the 2018-19 session and an inter school fest called ‘Convergence 2018’  has been organized on 3rd and 4th  May 2018 as part of  these celebrations.

    Please note the schedule for these 2 days :

    3rd May       -           Nursery to Class IX          -          Classes suspended

                                    Classes  X – XII                -          8:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

    4th May       -           Nursery to Class X          -         Classes suspended

                                    Class XI – XII                    -         8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

    Dear Parent,

    We are organizing water play in school for the Nursery students. Please note the schedule.

    Nursery A and B         –        Thursday, 26th April 2018

    Nursery C and D         –        Wednesday, 2nd May 2018

    On the day your daughter has water play she is to wear a swimming costume under her school uniform. She should carry a towel, a comb and an underwear in a plastic bag with her name written on it.

  • Classes III – V

    Dear Parent,

    We are pleased to inform you that the students of classes III, IV and V will be taken to watch a movie “Peter Rabbit” at Inox, Forum on Thursday, 26th April 2018 during school hours.

    You are requested to send Rs. 120/- towards the cost of the ticket, in a sealed and labelled envelope to your daughter’s class teacher by Monday, 23rd April, 2018.

    Kindly note that students accompanied by teachers and some parents will be walking to and from Inox. Students will not be allowed to purchase refreshments at the theatre.

    Please find attached the details of a Summer Workshop to be conducted by Birla Academy of Art and Culture and the Admission Form for the workshop.

    Interested students need to download the Admission Form and submit the filled – up form along with the requisite fee to Birla Academy of Art and Culture to enroll for the programme.

    Please note that there will be no teacher from our school present at the venue.
