    Dear Parents,

    As you may be aware, we at Sushila Birla Girls’ School have always walked that extra mile towards imbibing in our students the correct value system. We undertake various activities to sensitize the students to different social issues, and celebration of Grandparents’ Day is one such initiative.  

    Grandparents play a vital role in the lives of their grandchildren. We do hope that at the end of this very special day our students will value the presence of grandparents in their lives more than ever before.

    It gives us great pleasure to invite the grandparents to celebrate this special day with us on Friday, 23rd February 2018.

    A team comprising a grandparent and granddaughter may participate in the fun-filled activities planned specially for them.

    Do confirm your participation by filling up the attached slip and submit it to the class teacher by Monday, 29th January 2018.

    Given below are the events planned for each class

    Class III                      –          Mystery Box challenge – A craft based competition

    Class IV                      –          Power of a minute – A test of mental & physical agility

    Class V                       –         Way to Wellness - Non flame cooking

    Classes III, IV & V      –          Fun Quiz

    Please note that we can accept only a limited number of participants for each event, so please send in your confirmation at the earliest.

    Students need not come to school on the days when no examination or activity is slated.

    18th January 2018       -           Pre Board Examination answer scripts will be shown to Class X

                                                    Timings for the students – 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

    19th January 2018       -           Selection Examination answer scripts will be shown to Class XII

                                                    Timings for the students – 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

    31st January 2018       -           Classes X and XII to be in school from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    Classes  I – XII

    Dear Parents,

    As you are aware this year Saraswati Puja is on Monday 22nd January 2018.  It will interest you to know that this year instead of a cultural programme we have organized a Puja in the school premises.

    We will start the Puja at 9:00 a.m. and expect it to end by 10:30 a.m.  While attendance is not compulsory, we expect that students will come in order to offer their prayers to the Goddess of Learning.

    Please note that the students are to be dressed in appropriate Indian attire.
