    Classes VI – XII

    Dear Parents,

    Kindly note that Saturday, 06.01.2018 will be a working day for Classes VIII to XII doing  Periodic / Unit / Selection Examinations respectively and Class VI D for their scheduled old age home visit.

    The students are to follow the schedule given below :

    Class VI A, B, C                    -           Classes suspended

                VI D                            -           Old Age Home visit

                                                                Reporting time : 8:00 a.m. – Dispersal : 11:30 a.m.

    Class VII A, B, C, D              -           Classes suspended

    Class VIII                               -           8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

    Class IX                                 -           8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

    Class X                                  -           10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    Class XI                                 -           8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

    Class XII                                -           10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    It is to be further noted that students visiting Chandanagar on 05.01.2018 will be notified about a new date for the examination which they will miss on 06.01.2018.

    Classes VII, VIII, IX & XI (Only participating students)

    Dear Parents,

    Our school had held on 24th November 2017, a programme, as part of the “Bon Jour India” celebrations being conducted in India by the French Embassy, which was attended by the Consul General for France in Kolkata along with his senior officials.

    In the programme, the students had made a presentation on their research on Chandannagar.  The Consul General has invited  us to make this presentation as part of the weeklong celebrations the French will be holding in Chandannagar in January 2018.

    We have been requested to make the presentation on the 5th January 2018 at 3:00 p.m.  Our presentation will be the inaugural item which will start off the celebrations, which you will appreciate, is an honour for the students and the school.

    Your daughter __________________________ studying in Class _________ has been selected to be a part of the group making the presentation.  The following arrangements are being made for students participating in the presentation :

          1. If any student has any examination the next day, that examination will be rescheduled for them and                  they will be advised the fresh date.

          2.They will be taken to Chandannagar and back by bus arranged by the school. The presentation is not             expected to be more than an hour.  They will leave Chandannagar for Kolkata immediately after their                presentation. We expect to leave by 4:30 p.m.

          3.We hope to reach our school from Chandannagar around 8:00 p.m.

    Classes I – V

    Dear Parents,

    Please note the following with regard to the Annual Sports to be held at St. Thomas Boys’ School, Kidderpore on Friday, 22nd December, 2017.

    1) All students must report at St. Thomas Boys’ School, Kidderpore by 9:00 a.m. We expect that dismissal will be between 3.00 p.m. and 3.30 p.m.
    2) They must wear their sports costume provided to them, with school socks and regulation shoes. Their hair must be neatly tied.
    3) Please note that students of class IV and V, who are part of the flat race, will come in their P.T. uniform. Hence they must carry their Drill costume in a packet, which should bear their name and class.
    4) All students must bring their Sports equipment as instructed by the class teacher.
    5) They must carry sufficient drinking water. Light snacks will be provided to the students. However, they may bring dry tiffin if they so desire.
    6) They must carry an effective sun cap.
    7) Parents will not be allowed to have any contact with the students while sports is on.
    8) Students will be dispersed against their I.D. cards only after all the events are over. Please note that no child will be released early.
