    Nursery – Class V

    Dear Parent,

    Please note the following:

    Students will celebrate Teachers’ Day on Tuesday 5th September 2017.  Please note the school timings for that day.

                Nursery         -        8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

                KG                 -        8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

                Class I           -        8:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

                Class II          -        8:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

                Class III         -        8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

                Class IV         -        8:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

                Class V          -        8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

    We would like to remind you that no gifts or bouquets etc. may be presented to the teachers. However, children may show their appreciation through cards.

    On Tuesday, 5th September, 2017 dispersal will be against ID cards only and afternoon clubs will not be held.

    Please also note that classes will be suspended for students of Nursery to Class V on Thursday 7th September on account of Teachers’ Day celebration by the school management.

    Students of Class V will be taken to the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum at Gurusaday Road on Friday, 1st September, 2017 during school hours.

    They will see a “Bubble Show” for which there is an entry fee. Kindly send Rs.10/- towards the same in an envelope to the class teacher by Thursday 31st August, 2017.

    Classes IX - XII

    Dear Parents,

    Please note the following regarding the school blazer :

    Classes IX & XI                   

    (Only new students of Class XI )       -                Due to the inclusion of GST by the Government of

                                                                                India w.e.f. July 1st, 2017, cost of the new blazers                                 

                                                                                has been increased from Rs.1800/- to Rs.2016/-

                                                                                (12% on Rs.1800/- as GST).

                                                                                Therefore, please send the increased amount of

                                                                                Rs.216/-  (Rupees two hundred sixteen only)

                                                                                through your daughter to her Class Teacher

                                                                                by Friday 15th September 2017.

     

    Classes X,  XI and XII                                     -  Students have to change the pockets of their blazers

    (Those who already have blazers)                     for the new logo.  Kindly send Rs.300/-  through your

                                                                               daughter to her Class Teacher by Friday 15th   September 2017.

    Classes  III - V

    Dear Parents,

    To inculcate reading and writing habits in children in a fun way we at Sushila Birla Girls' School have organized a two day workshop in collaboration with Ahava Communications. 

    The workshop will consist of interactive sessions regarding the various parts and categories of a book as well as discussions based on interesting stories by J.K.Rowling, Charles Dickens, Ruskin Bond, Roald Dahl and a few other renowned authors.

    The aim of this workshop is to help children express themselves freely and enjoy reading story books. Group activities to enhance the child’s reading, vocabulary and story-writing skills will also be conducted during the course of the workshop.

    Students interested to participate in the above mentioned workshop should bring the fee mentioned below in cash in an envelope bearing the name, class and section of the child and hand it over to Mrs. F. Singh by 31st  August, 2017.

    Please note, that only the first 50 students to submit the fee will be accommodated in the workshop.

    Dates: Saturday 9th & 16th September, 2017
    Time: 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
    Venue: Primary School Library
    Fee: Rs.700/-
