    Sub : Daan Utsav

    Dear Parents,

In the month of September 2022, Sushila Birla Girls’ School will be observing ‘Daan Utsav’ in a unique way as we believe that ‘there are those that give with

joy and joy is their reward’. (Khalil Gibran).

Some teachers had conducted a survey of the villages in Sunderban on 11th July 2022 following which Uttar Chandanpiri, a small hamlet of 500 families, has been adopted for the project.

These families will be provided with a survival kit comprising bare essentials to spread joy amongst them. The Uttar Chandanpiri O Pra Vidyalaya will be given LED lights, toys and teaching aids.  265 students of this school will be given stationery and some food items.

The Sneh Committee members, along with some teachers, will be visiting the village to personally hand over the items to the students and the villagers. On

that day, lunch will also be served to them.

We request you to come forward and donate generously for this noble cause. A list of items for the same will be shared by the respective class teachers.

    Thank you,

    K Dey
    Principal
