    Dear Parents,

    This year, we wish to observe Sushila Birla Memorial Day through a literary fest to celebrate authors whose works have been a source of great delight and solace to all of us in these difficult times. A week-long celebration which will culminate in a session with Mr. Ruskin Bond on 4.10.2021 has been planned for our students.

    For the students of Class II, the school is organising storytelling sessions which will be conducted according to the schedule given below:

    Kindly make the necessary payment through NEFT as per the details mentioned hereunder by Tuesday 21st September 2021.  The details of your daughter’s Class, Section and UTR number need to be sent through a mail to the Principal’s id : principal@sbgskolkata.ac.in and mukesh_sethia@sbgskolkata.ac.in .    Also please take a screen shot of the last page of the online payment and send it to the Class Teacher immediately.

    Dear Parents,

    Society for Heritage and Ecological Researches (SHER) is a Non-Government Organisation focussed to spread awareness amongst people towards the conservation of ecology, environment and wildlife. Sushila Birla Girls’ School has been working hand-in-hand with the SHER foundation to work on this important aspect.

    In order to inculcate empathy and empower our students to face the 21st century Global challenges, a virtual interactive session with Dr. Parvish Pandya, Consultant Vice-President, HR with Davé Law Group, USA, Consultant - Sanctuary Nature Foundation, Director - Science & Conservation, Former Vice-Principal & Associate Professor in Zoology under the moderatorship of Mr. Joydeep Kundu, wildlife conservationist, member of State Board of Wildlife- West Bengal, Coordinator- Sanctuary Asia & Kids for Tiger, General Secretary- SHER  will be conducted on Friday, 24th September 2021 at 2:00pm for the students of Classes VI to VIII over Zoom.

    Dr. Pandya will be addressing the students on the following topics:

              •  Nature is beautiful.

              •  Survival Revolution, how life forms have evolved through several millennia.

              •  Living beings can adapt to earth's changes and survive and how much nature do we humans need to survive?

    The Zoom link will be shared with the students by their respective Class teachers.
