  • The quantity of the food packed should be appropriate for your child.
  • A clean napkin, a fork and a spoon must be carried to school daily.

  • Use minimum oil while preparing food.
  • Encourage fresh, seasonal fruits and homemade snacks.
  • Avoid aerated drinks and sugary beverages.

RECIPE OF THE MONTH

Spinach Corn Paratha

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 cup finely chopped spinach

½ cup boiled sweet corn

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

½ tsp ajwain

½ tsp cumin powder

2 tsp ghee

Salt to taste & water as required

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix flour, spinach, sweet corn, coriander, ajwain, cumin powder and salt.

  • Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough.

  • Rest for 10 minutes and then roll into parathas.

  • Roast on a hot tawa with a little ghee until golden brown.

  • Serve warm with curd or mint chutney.

The Preliminary Selection Trials for the Karate Belt Gradation Examination 2026 will be conducted during school hours on Monday, 07.09.2026. 

Students will be selected based on their performance in the following areas:

Selected students will appear for the Karate Belt Gradation Examination on Tuesday, 29.09.2026.

Please note that the Belt Gradation Examination is a paid one. All details regarding the examination, including the fee structure and other relevant information, will be shared with the selected students.

Class – III

Dear Parents, 

This is to inform you that the students of Class III will be taken for an educational field trip to ‘OFFICE LINC’, 28B Shakespeare Sarani Road, Kolkata 700017 on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026. The objective of the field trip is to help children understand concepts related to money. They will learn to compare prices, make sensible purchasing decisions and budget within the given amount. Respective Class Teachers and parent volunteers will accompany them.

The schedule for the field trip is as follows:

Date: Wednesday, 2nd September 2026

Time:  10:00 am – 11:00 am - III A and III B

           11:00 am – 12: 00 noon - III C and III D

Students should carry Rs 100/- in a sealed envelope with their names and class written on it for the shopping activity. They must also carry a cloth bag for shopping.

The trip will be undertaken subject to weather conditions.

You are requested to send the duly signed permission slip to the Class Teacher latest by Monday, 31st August 2026.

Dear Parents,

In order to promote experiential learning, an educational field trip to Shantiniketan is being planned for the students of Class V from Wednesday, 6th January to Friday, 8th January 2027. Various activities are planned integrating curricular and co-curricular topics. We urge you to consider the trip as compulsory. 

The tour price of Rs. 7,500/- is inclusive of accommodation, train fare, sightseeing, food and GST.  Kindly note that the payment is to be made through a demand draft in favour of ‘Monarch Travels, Kolkata’. The consent form for the trip is to be filled up and sent along with the demand draft to your daughter’s Class Teacher by Tuesday, 1st September 2026. Please note that cash/cheques will not be accepted.

The school is initiating the process of creating student records in UDISE+. As part of this statutory requirement, we are required to collect accurate and complete information from parents/guardians to create each student’s profile.

You are kindly requested to:

  • Fill in the attached UDISE+ Student Data Collection Form carefully and completely.
  • Write all entries clearly in BLOCK LETTERS.
  • Verify each detail before signing the declaration at the end of the form.
  • Ensure that no field is left incomplete, as this may affect the accuracy of the student’s profile in UDISE+.
  • Ensure mandatory attachments 
  • A photocopy of Student’s Aadhar Card, attested by either parent.
  • In case of CWSN student, attach a photocopy of UDID Card, attested by either parent. 

Incomplete or incorrect information may affect the accuracy of your ward’s official records. Please ensure that the completed form is submitted to your daughter’s Class Teacher by Friday, 28th August 2026.

This is to inform you that the Annual Excursion to Nainital and Jim Corbett National Park has been planned for the students of Classes IX-XII during the Puja Vacation from 12th to 16th November 2026. The excursion is being organised by ‘Pankaj Agarwal Tours and Travels’. The itinerary has been attached.

Tour Price: Rs. 58,700/- per head. (The cost is inclusive of accommodation, air tickets, sightseeing, food and GST)

Kindly note that the number of seats being limited, students will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish your daughter to be a part of this excursion, please register by Friday, 21st August 2026 along with the submission of the Demand Draft and the consent form.

The name of the student, her class and the mobile number of the parent should be mentioned at the back of the draft.
