Notices

Dear Parents,

With reference to CBSE Circular Nos. Acad-17/2026, Acad-25/2026 and Acad-33/2026 regarding the implementation of the revised language policy, some students have recently migrated or are about to migrate to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit as their R3 language.

Keeping the welfare of our students in mind and in order to ensure a smooth and stress-free transition, it has been decided that these students will not be required to appear for Periodic Test–I in their newly chosen language. This decision has been taken considering that students require adequate time to familiarise themselves with the syllabus, concepts and language structure of the newly adopted subject.

The school remains committed to supporting students during this transition through bridge courses and appropriate academic assistance so that they may gradually gain confidence and progress comfortably in their chosen language.

We believe that learning flourishes best in a nurturing environment free from unnecessary pressure and seek your continued cooperation in ensuring a positive and meaningful learning experience for all students.

Thank you

Parenting Calendar

We are pleased to inform you that in alignment with NEP 2020, CBSE has launched the Parenting Calendar for the Academic Session 2026–2027 on 29 April 2026. The Calendar attempts to strengthen parent–school engagement to promote students’ holistic well-being. The 2026–2027 edition introduces enhanced engagement strategies, teacher-led initiatives and focused psychosocial support, with an emphasis on students’ emotional, social and academic development.

The Calendar serves as a practical guide for fostering meaningful parent–child interaction and building a supportive learning ecosystem for the students.
The Parenting Calendar is available on CBSE website for schools:
https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/documents/CBSE_Parenting_Calendar-2026-2027_29042026.pdf

The fundamental objectives behind this initiative are:

  • Enable timely and need-based intervention for students.
  • Equip parents with practical understanding of developmental and contextual challenges.
  • Foster consistency, clarity and empathy in communication across the school ecosystem.

The key features of the calendar are:

  • Structured and need-based parent–teacher interactions to support timely and contextual engagement.
  • Opportunities for active participation through engagement-based activities within the school ecosystem.
  • Dedicated spaces for parent reflection, encouraging parents to pause, reflect and engage more consciously with their child’s growth and their own parenting practices.
  • Ongoing feedback processes to ensure adaptability and continuous improvement.
  • Focused orientation to evolving curricular and pedagogical approaches to support parent understanding.

By fostering a strong and collaborative partnership between parents and educators, the Parenting Calendar aims to cultivate a supportive ecosystem that nurtures students’ academic progress, emotional resilience and social well-being.

A detailed schedule of the workshops and other engagement activities will be shared with you shortly. We would like to encourage the parents to participate in these sessions to strengthen the parent-school bond.

Thank you

Class IX

Dear Parent

With reference to the CBSE Circular No: Acad-33/2026, we hereby would like to inform you as the parents of Class IX about certain changes pertaining to Language 3, which we are compelled to make, to align ourselves to CBSE’s Scheme of Studies.

Please take note of the following critical highlights and how they impact your ward:

  • Starting July 1, 2026, it is compulsory for all Class IX students to study three languages (R1, R2, and R3).
  • At least two of these must be native Indian languages.
  • Class IX students will continue to study their chosen 3rd language which they pursued in Class VIII.
  • As per the CBSE guidelines, Class VI R3 textbooks (2026–27 edition) will be used by the students.
  • To keep the environment stress-free, there will be NO Board Examination conducted for the third language (R3) at the Class X level. Hence, all assessments for the third language will be entirely school-based and internal. (As per CBSE Circular No: Acad – 33/2026)

We thank you for your continued cooperation as we embrace these changes aimed at fostering multilingual proficiency and a joyful learning experience for our students.

Thank you

Class VII

Dear Parents,

With reference to CBSE Circular No. Acad-33/2026 regarding the implementation of the three-language formula in Classes IX & X from the academic session 2026-27, students will be required to study three languages, out of which at least two must be native Indian languages.

Since our school follows English as R1, French and German cannot continue as R3 at the Secondary level. Therefore, to ensure a smooth transition before Class IX, students currently studying French and German in Class VII will be required to opt for one of the following languages from the current academic session onwards:

Hindi
Bengali
Sanskrit

Students shifting to the above languages will be provided with bridge courses in the language chosen by them to help them remain on a par with the rest of the class.

Additionally, students who wish to continue learning French or German may join the French and German clubs that will be conducted every Friday during the 7th & 8th periods as part of Hobby Activities. These activities will provide students with opportunities for continued engagement with the language and culture through a variety of outreach initiatives organised by the school from time to time.

We seek your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition for all students.

Thank you

Class VI

Dear Parents,

With reference to CBSE circular nos. Acad-17/2026 and Acad-25/2026, which mandate choosing of at least two native languages for R1-R2-R3, we would like to state that French and German will be discontinued as options for R3 for Class VI students of 2026-27 and the subsequent batches until further notice. Since our school follows English as R1, French and German cannot continue as R3 at this level. Students who had opted for these two languages are being instructed to choose one of the following as R3 for the current academic session:

Hindi
Bengali
Sanskrit

These students will be provided with bridge courses in the language they choose to help them remain on a par with the rest of the class.

Additionally, students who had opted for French and German and would want to learn these two languages can join the French and German Hobby Activities that will be held every Friday during the 7th and 8th periods. These activities will provide students with opportunities for continued engagement with the language and culture through a variety of outreach initiatives organised by the school from time to time.

We seek your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition for all students.
