  • Class V

    Dear Parent,

    In order to promote experiential learning, an annual excursion to Shantiniketan is being planned for the students of Class V from 28th to 30th November 2024. Various activities are planned integrating the curricular and co-curricular topics. We urge you to consider the trip as compulsory.

    Tour Price: Rs. 6,000/- The cost is inclusive of accommodation, train fare, sightseeing, food and GST. The itinerary of the excursion will be sent separately.

    Kindly note that the payment of Rs. 6,000/- is to be made through a demand draft in favour of ‘Monarch Travels, Kolkata’. The consent form for the trip is to be filled up and sent along with the demand draft to your daughter’s Class Teacher by Monday 1st July 2024. Please note that cash / cheques will not be accepted.

  • Upper Nursery

    Dear Parents,

    We are delighted to announce that we are organizing an event called ‘60 SECONDS TO FAME’, wherein the students of Upper Nursery will get a chance to showcase their talents on stage. 

    The following are the dates for each section: 

    Upper Nursery A - 24th June, 2024

    Upper Nursery C - 25th June, 2024

    Upper Nursery B - 26th June, 2024 

    Upper Nursery D - 27th June, 2024

    Kindly adhere to the following rules and regulations for the same: 

    1.     The time limit to perform is maximum 1 minute.

    2.     The students may perform their act in coloured clothes. In that case, the school uniform should be kept in their bags. 

    3.     They are allowed to carry props if required. Please label them. 

    4.     If any music is required for the performance, kindly share it with the class teachers at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

    5.     Bollywood songs or any songs with inappropriate lyrics are not allowed.

    6.     Participation is compulsory.

    Kindly note - The school timings remain the same for these days.

    Onions, tomatoes, carrots, beans and corn can be added to make it more wholesome and colourful.

     

    Soaked almonds are good for brain health while water apples keep us hydrated.

    Tasty and colourful this dish is full of vitamins and carbohydrates to give us energy.

     

    Jowar is rich in protein. Ghee contains Vitamins A, D, E and K, good for brain and nerve health.

    Whole Wheat Pasta in your favourite sauce (red/white/mixed)

     Mango slices

    Whole wheat pasta is high in energy.

     

     

    Mango is important in strengthening our bones and is rich in Vitamin A.

    Please note:

    • The quantity of the food packed should be appropriate to the appetite of your child.
    • A napkin must be carried to school daily.
    • A fork /spoon must be carried every day.
    • Packaged food items should not be sent.
    • It is advisable to give an extra tiffin to the students on club days.
    • It is important for children to drink sufficient water throughout the day to ensure that they stay adequately hydrated.

    RECIPE OF THE MONTH

    JOWAR PUFFS

         • 1 small bowl- jowar puffs

         • 2  teaspoon - ghee

         • salt and black pepper to taste


    INSTRUCTIONS

              • Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a wok.

              • Add the jowar puffs and roast them on low flame till crunchy. 

               Add the remaining ghee from the side of the wok.

              • Lastly, add salt and pepper to taste.
