Classes III – VIII

Dear Parents,

We are thrilled to announce that the Archery Activity will continue to be a part of our co- curricular activities for the academic session 2024-2025. Archery, a sport known for promoting focus, discipline, and physical fitness, will now be offered as an afternoon activity for students of Classes III to VIII.

The archery sessions will be conducted by the renowned Dola & Rahul Banerjee Sports Foundation, led by Olympian and Arjuna Awardee recipients, Rahul Banerjee and Dola Banerjee. With a dedicated mission to promote archery, the foundation operates two academies in Kolkata. They also serve as advisors to the Bengal Archery Academy in Jhargram, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of West Bengal.

The foundation's track record speaks volumes, as it has nurtured talented children who now proudly represent India and the State in various tournaments.

We are not just introducing archery as an extracurricular activity, we are cultivating an opportunity for our students to aspire to discover their talents and hone their skills.

The following is the schedule for archery activity in school:

• Classes III to V: Monday and Tuesday from 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm

• Classes VI to VIII: Wednesday and Thursday from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm

There is an annual fee of ₹5400, payable at the beginning of the session. Please be aware that no refunds will be provided if a student decides to discontinue participation during the academic session.

•Participation in the Archery Activity is based upon a selection process. If you want your daughter to be a part of this exciting activity, kindly fill out the attached consent form and submit it to the respective class teachers by Tuesday, 19th March 2024.
